Lubricate Your Chain Once a Month

Lubricating your chain once a month will keep your bike riding smoothly and quietly. Chain lube also helps prevent premature wear on your drive-train. There are a wide variety of chain lubes to fit every riding style, our staff can work with you to find one that is ideal for your needs.

Pump Your Tires Once a Week

To prevent flats and just to keep your bike riding at its best we recommend inflating your tires once a week. The best tool for this is a floor pump with a pressure gauge. If you're not ready to invest in a floor pump for your house we have them available to use (for free) at both locations.

Get Your Bike Tuned-up Once a Year

During a yearly tune-up we check over the whole bike to make sure everything is working correctly and your bike safe to ride. A tune-up also includes free installation of most components, so that makes it the perfect opportunity to replace those worn brake pads and tires. As always these are general guidelines, if you are a frequent rider or commuter you may find it beneficial to get tune-ups more frequently. If you ever have any questions don't hesitate to bring your bike in, repair estimates are always free of charge.
